Dr. Ratio vs Simulated Universe

Short Version: if you have problems with Swarm Disaster V and you don't have il - use Ratio

Longer Version: I finished Swarm Disaster V some time ago, after many attempts, with Qingque on Propagation. Since then I've tried different paths with different teams, but it was too hard, no matter what I did.

And recently I thought, why not try it with Dr.Ratio, as a joke. So I used my then 70-something lvl Ratio with half upgraded relics and random LC, on Elation, with Luocha, Fu Xuan and Pela - and to my surprise they easily won. And then I thought, it was so easy, why not try other paths too, with the same team, you know, as a joke?

So they did all the other paths too, they only died twice (one time on Preservation, because it turns out that trying Preservation without a character who can make shields isn't the best idea, so I had to use Gepard). So yeah, if you have a half decent support team and don't have il - you can easily do Swarm Disaster V now.

And then I thought, again, as a joke - why not try Gold and Gears V Conundrum 12? It feels 10 times harder than Con 10, I tried several times, and I'd always die on 1st or 2nd boss (once we died on some random occurrence 2 turns before the final boss). I used Company Time and, granted, I was quite lucky with my curios that time, but it was so easy that I even got the achievement for final boss Argenti's summons dying before being able to do anything.

Speaking of Company Time, here are some fun numbers from previous runs. First is from my boy Caelus, who is chronically half-built, and the second is my biggest dmg yet, and I don't even know what made it, probably Quake

okay prefacing this I haven't finished swarm disaster yet BUT I am finishing it. on swarm 4's communing trail levels right now so rest assured I'm getting there.

anyways.

I'm clearing swarm 4, as you do, and get the elation 2 aeon meeting. which! is cool! I only need one more aeon meeting (preservation 2) to finish those off! but aha then gives me three cosmic big lottos, which, when you destroy objects, have a chance of giving curios (buffs, essentially) as well as breaking and reducing your character's health and energy to one.

and then aha drops me in a fucking adventure domain, specifically the one I have to destroy objects to clear.

how fun!

so I clear it. full marks of course, I have IL and he makes clearing those a breeze. and all of my characters are at 1 health and no energy.

and I have to clear a swarm domain (a domain you have to fight to clear) with my characters like that in order to get a communing trail level (rubert 3 cometh).

I weigh the risks. Do I do it, or not? Should I risk the run?

I risk the run, of course!

I enter the battle, wary. Three bugs.

I wait out the mitosis warning, another spawns, and hit elation path resonance. All of them die.

Yes, I think, saved!

Wave 2/2.

Fuck!

march dies, because she's at one health of course she does.

bailu revives her. a shield auto-applies because she's below 35% hp if I recall the blessing (buff) correctly.

then they start focusing march. which is very good, because she's the only party member with a shield and health. her counters trigger, dealing a bit of damage.

now it's my turn.

topaz skill on the one with the least health. it dies and explodes. march shield on clara. bailu heal of course because all of my characters are low health. clara skill, aoe damage, killing another. it explodes as well, taking the rest with it.

battle ended.

how the hell did any of that work.

I exit the domain, enter respite, grab the healing objects, heal up my team, and take a quick break from star rail before I go on to the swarm boss and kick its ass.

lessons learned: elation path awesome, aha's a tricksy devil.

the hsr swarm person: im level 66 which is why im so confused why im suffering so much; using my gorjus maxed out jingyuan, luocha 6/8/8/8 + all traces unlocked, seele with an honestly really bad build and preservation mc for survival who also isnt the best

im leveling up il dan heng rn but i have NO destruction mats and even less light cone level up mats so i guess we'll be grinding

so i guess a good team then would be ildh luocha and who else??

take my words w a grain of salt because i've really only managed to clear level three a few times and almost beat difficulty 4 but i would assume the main issues is that you need to spend your resources on a preservation unit and debuffer / support.

for jy ESPECIALLY because he's very vulnerable to crowd control. your preservation MC is viable but i'd recommend march 7th over them (or gepard if you managed to get him). a lot of the content in swarm will want to oneshot you so damage mitigation is more important than healing in my experience.

(which makes sense because fu xuan is next and her entire kit is damage mitigation but kjfdksd i digress)

i would say with your current team, drop seele off of your team and use luocha primarily for breaking imaginary shield. replace seele with a semi-built debuffer or support (the best option for both JY and DH IL is tingyun, but pela is also very viable for both. asta also works very well but more for jy than dh il. yukong is Fine but her kit is imo tricky and shes also kind of skill point greedy)

so for team comp recc jing yuan, flex support / debuff (tingyun works best for jy and dh il, as does pela.) / preservation / shielder / luocha.

for dh il i use dh il, tingyun AND pela, and then gepard for best results

after that - it's mostly about choosing the correct path for you based on your team comps. i don't have a lot of experience with elation path in swarm but i hear it does well for jy so you'd have to try it.

you can use destruction path for dh il since you have luocha but i do not use it much since i think it works better for self-sustain characters and i find it very tricky to use. its not impossible but its kind of a suicide mission since it mostly focuses on hp consumption.

me personally, i universally always go for the preservation or remembrance paths, abundance also works very well for this. preservation is preferred for me since i have a crazy stacked gepard lmao. mix preservation with some healing or debuffing blessings and it basically keeps you alive no matter what

remembrance (aka freeze path) is also pretty good because well. it freezes everything and if something is frozen it cannot hurt you but it only works if you have someone like pela, march or geppie.

abundance works well but you have luocha so it might not be as necessary for you. still i would say the blessings for abundance in swarm are wayyy better than the normal SU. it's kind of up to you

either way, always try to go for things that contribute to your path though because once you hit max you can combine paths as well and get more bonuses. having a lot of path resonance is good.

ALSO MAKE SURE YOU READ EACH BLESSING CAREFULLY!! i know that is obvious but its a good reminder. understanding exactly what stats you have can make or break your run i find

also and this is just my personal experience but i will always choose curios over blessings if i have a chance because i think curios have better universal effects. blessings can be random but curious are imo more consistent.

i hope this helps!! i can give more advice if anyone wants specifically because clearing swarm is very dependent on ur actual account but i do pretty regularly clear difficult content in game!!!

Ren is a craftsman, he should be able to make an IL figurine, right?

Ren has a nice spare block of wood and he was waiting for his Curio in the furnace, his hands felt bored so he decided to crave it into something. After a while, he unconsciously carved a small Yinyue sitting in his palm. The wooden Yinyue looked at him prettily, hair long and silk-like draped over one shoulder, one hand extended outward like calling for Ren. He was dressed in a tight undershirt and loose pants, the one has a huge window at the front, giving an impression of his tits going to jump out at any time. Ren rubbed his rough fingerpad over the wooden Yinyue’s small plump and petals-like lips, imagining the real person slyly kissed on Ren’s fingers while his eyes twinkled playfully. Yinyue would have guided his hands to his (the figurine’s) small waist, reminding him how grabbable and fit the real deal was in his hands. He placed a longing kiss on Longzun’s bare ankle to end his worshipping ritual. The ankle adorns a silver bracelet that he made, exactly like the one hanging on the figurine.

Something that was supposed for killing time turned into another side project for Ren. He searched his whole workshop for a jade block with the correct color for Yinyue’s horns and tail, and another block that has a verdigris color for his eyes. The man ended up cracking two new, expensive blocks of gem but perfect for his figurine. It worthed every strale, seeing the figurine being truthful to the real Yinyue Jun down to the shade of his nails or the mole on his pelvis.

Ren can’t stop looking at the lifelike figurine, lowkey feeling proud and smug of himself. Then he made another, then another, Ren sunk too deep in the ‘zone’ that he almost burnt his Curio to ashes. 

When the young Jing Yuan came to find him a month later, he was bending over a Yinyue’s marble tiddies trying to sew the clothes on the statue. The white-hair youth looked around his workshop, eyes wide, his smile dimmed. Various sizes of Yinyue Jun models were scattered from the table tops to the floor, in different poses and materials (and states of undress). They all looked incredible, artistic and technical-wise,...but with a dubious sensual air surrounding them. It was the bare collar bone, the triangle dip at the statue’s lower back, the hint of erected nipples through the sheer top; made the young lieutenant’s cheeks burnt.

“They are Curios…,” Ren paused his hands to explain.

“I do hope you-,” Jing Yuan paused to look behind his back, then lowered his voice. He still kept that scolding tone, “ didn’t fuck them,...or give them any indecent usage. The Preceptors will have your head if they find out.”

“Who has the time for ‘that’? I have been busy since Yinyue Jun went on a business trip-.”

“Not anymore! I’m back, my beloved~!”

A Vidyadhara man with a pair of jade horns poked out from behind the lieutenant, luggage in hand. His face was bright with a hint of sweat, no doubt he flew straight from the harbor to the studio. The real model slowly looked around to take in the situation, his green tail floated behind elegantly slipped through obstacles. He nodded in approval as his eyebrows raised.

“Not bad at all. I can almost feel like looking in a mirror.” He stopped at a figurine of him extending his hand outward with an inviting, flushed expression. Ren carefully placed it on a high shelf and covered it with a glass cage. Actually, all figurines and statues of him were all treated with care, protecting them from dust. It made Dan Feng a bit jealous. The whole room was full of “him” looking at Ren working passionately all day and night while the real Yinyue only had a lonely cold suite, an empty bed for a whole month away.

“If…you need a live model, I’m always available.” He shyly suggested.

“I do!” Ren perked up immediately and flicked his head toward the back. Actually, he saw how the dragon's tail ruffled before flopping down in front of the figurine. As someone who was very well-versed in the tail’s language, Ren knew Longzun was feeling challenged. By a figurine of all things…

“There is one I’m struggling to make right.”

The mention of the “back room” made Dan Feng’s stomach did a flip in excitement. The Lord quickly covered his smile behind his long sleeve but couldn’t hide his tail wagging like crazy.

Curio The Complete Series di Cara McKenna, che non è propriamente Femdom, ma la protagonista va da un gigolò per avere le sue prime esperienze s3ssuali e nelle novelle successive esplorano vari aspetti del loro rapporto e c'è una parte più Femdom, comprensiva di p3gging. Ho scritto una lunga recensione, se vuoi più dettagli!

Pleasure and Purpose di Megan Hart, che è un fantasy erotico composto da tre racconti: il primo è decisamente Maledom/femsub, ma il secondo già è più sfumato come dinamica (il protagonista maschile domina a mo' di principino viziato che è) e il terzo è puramente Femdom. Storie davvero meravigliose, il worldbuilding mi è piaciuto molto!

The Gargoyle's Captive di Katee Robert, fantasy romance in cui nonostante l'asta in cui la protagonista femminile viene "acquistata" dal protagonista maschile, c'è una bella dinamica enemies-to-lovers e Femdom (per quanto solo a letto).

Saving Suzy di Stefanie Simpson, questo è più romance erotico e devo dire che la parte romance non mi ha coinvolta molto, ma il Femdom è abbastanza vario e con praticità che non si vedono spesso.

If She Says Yes di Tasha L. Harrison, è anche age gap in cui è lei quella più grande (la madre del migliore amico di lui!) e c'è un percorso molto bello di riscoperta di sé dopo la morte del marito e soprattutto in una posizione più dominante.

Bonus: non è Femdom (se non nella novella extra), ma Release di Suzanne Clay è stata una lettura meravigliosa che consiglio vivamente!

I'll Do Anything di Daisy Jane, è un bully romance con Femdom... almeno così promette. Mi aspettavo una bella storia di vendetta che si trasforma in amore, ma alla fine c'è molto angst per il 40% e quando inizia il Femdom è così concentrato su di lui (c'è una c0ck cage, ci speravo!) e poco su di lei. L'ho messo in pausa due settimane e quando l'ho ripreso ho detto "nope" così forte che l'ho abbandonato. Ho altri libri della stessa autrice già acquistati in sconto e quindi li leggerò, nella speranza che siano migliori.

Cornelia's almost melodic recitative breaking up Curio and Cesare's very rhythmic conversation, especially when saying "Da pace all'armi"? The sudden rise of Achilla's "questa del gran Pompeo superba testa" followed by a return to the calmer recitative from before with "di base al regal trono" because he thinks he did nothing wrong?

The whiplash between "Svegliatevi nel core, furie d'un alma offesa, a far d'un traditor aspra vendetta!" and "L'ombra del genitore, accorre a mia difesa e dice: a te il rigor, figlio, figlio, si aspetta"? The entirety of "Alma del Gran Pompeo"??

The tension in the rise and fall of Nireno and Cleopatra's "Troncar fè Tolomeo il capo... / Ohimè! di chi? / Del gran Pompeo" and later "Che gli mandò? / L'esanimato volto"?? The absolute clash between the melody and lyrics of "Tu sei il cor di questo core" that combines somewhat apologetic and tender-sounding lyrics with loud threatening music? And I think there's a musical Dies Irae reference in there? The first word of Cesare and Tolomeo's arias about each other being "l'empio"??

The absolute rawness of the line "L'aure che spira tirano e fiero egli non merta di respirar"? The melody of "Vanni son i lamenti" as Sesto announces his desire for revenge and "Sappi, perfido monstro" after he fulfils it being the same?

The climax of "Son nata a lagrimar" mirroring Cesare and Cleopatra's "verá" through harmony in the final duet, comparing the separation of act 1 with the reuniting of act 3? Tolomeo yelling "Sveglia! Sveglia!" in Cornelia's face after "svegliare" being established as basically Sesto's word in "Svegliatevi"? And Sesto's being a prayer and request while Tolomeo's is an order???

L'intelligence artificielle (IA): entre mythe et réalité !

Athéna a guidé les héros dans la mythologie grecque et l’intelligence artificielle joue le même rôle en devenant la clé qui ouvre des portes sans clef, mais aussi est celle qui éclaire le chemin des internautes sans éthiques sociales. Dans ce blogue, je ne veux pas citer ses bienfaits que la plupart sûrement connaissent. En revanche, je vais aborder mes préoccupations quant à ses utilisations qui remettent en question sa transparence et ses principes moraux.

En premier lieu, la clarté des messages et des informations données par l’intelligence artificielle est tellement critiquée par les spécialistes et les recherchistes qui trouvent que cette intelligence a une grande difficulté à expliquer un bon raisonnement de ses démarches surtout dans les opérations complexes qui exigent une polyvalence et une bonne compréhension que seulement les humains l’ont. En fait, l’utilisation excessive de l’IA surtout par les jeunes détruit leur autonomie et engendre une perte de compétence sociale parce que ces jeunes internautes confient leurs responsabilités à des algorithmes, risquant ainsi de diminuer leur capacité de prendre une bonne décision et détruisant leur créativité qui est une signature de leur individualité.

En second lieu, l’IA n’est pas capable de fournir des sources crédibles et fiables à ces informations, car elle produit des textes provenant des sites qui se trouvent sur les réseaux sociaux sans respecter les droits d’auteur. Ce qui résume sa tâche à une simple collection rapide des données en ligne en exposant des œuvres de façon illégale. Ceci peut aussi générer dans quelques situations des informations incorrectes qui contiennent des inexactitudes. Qui peut contrôler ou vérifier toutes les informations véhiculées par les internautes ? Prenons l’exemple de Microsoft qui a retiré récemment de son site un article promouvant le tourisme à Ottawa parce qu’il était tout simplement truffé d’erreurs.

En conclusion, bien que l’intelligence sociale offre des avantages significatifs, il ne faut jamais oublier que les travaux des artistes et des recherchistes sont bien exploités pour alimenter ses systèmes. Nous devons être vigilants et responsables, et l’utiliser de façon judicieuse.

Les jeux vidéo ne sont plus seulement des divertissements pour les amateurs de technologie. Au cours des dernières années, les chercheurs ont exploré les nombreux bienfaits de cette forme de média, découvrant des aspects qui vont bien au-delà du simple plaisir de jouer. Stimulant cérébral : un entraînement pour l’esprit

Les jeux de simulation, de conduite automobile, de musique et de tir peuvent améliorer, entre autres, l’attention, la perception visuelle, la concentration et le temps de réaction. Cohésion sociale : des connexions au-delà de l’écran

Contrairement à l’idée préconçue selon laquelle les jeux vidéo isolent les individus, de nombreux jeux encouragent la collaboration. Les jeux multijoueurs en ligne, comme Among Us ou encore Animal Crossing: New Horizons, créent des communautés virtuelles où des personnes du monde entier peuvent se connecter, coopérer et construire des amitiés durables. Les années de pandémie et de confinement en sont la preuve irréfutable : le jeu Among Us a réussi à attirer près de 500 millions d’utilisateurs actifs par mois à la fin de l’année 2020, selon les chiffres du site d’analyse de jeux vidéo Stream Charts.

Gestion du stress : une évasion salutaire

La vie quotidienne peut être stressante, mais les jeux vidéo offrent une échappatoire bienvenue. Plonger dans un monde virtuel permet de libérer le stress accumulé, proposant un moyen sain de se détendre et de retrouver un équilibre mental. « Les Québécoises et les Québécois jouent notamment aux jeux vidéo pour les aider à gérer leur stress (75 %), ou encore pour se sentir moins anxieux (62 %) », selon un sondage mené par l’Association canadienne du logiciel de divertissement.

Bien le bonjour mes vaillants compagnons ! Je suis fort heureuse de vous annoncer que j'ai survécu à cette nuit dans la tempête, même pas froid. Et la voiture est étanche, c'est une bonne nouvelle.

Cette journée du 3 juin se passera avec une météo sacrément meilleure que celle d'hier ! (Bon, je ne mets pas la barre bien haut, certes, mais ça fait quand même plaisir !). J'aime bien la photo du dessous parcequ'elle résume pas mal les paysages des Catlins : de la mer, de la forêt, et des moutons ! (Sisi, au bout de la péninsule, ça fait travailler vos yeux)

Je commence donc la journée par un Martin pêcheur surprise, puis une petite balade sur la plage, où je trouve un magnifique Paua 🥰🥰 c'est comme les nacres de Villefranche, mais de la taille de ma main... Ils font beaucoup de bijoux à partir de ce coquillage ici d'ailleurs !

Ensuite, je fais plein de cascades, la plus belle étant sans conteste celle de McLean !

Celle ci avait un petit air de Brocéliande (pi les mêmes températures qu'en Bretagne en plein hiver tiens)

Ensuite, direction les wetlands, ça changeait totalement d'ambiance ! Pas le droit de quitter le chemin pour protéger les plantes ... Et de toute façon, j'ai l'impression que je m'y serais enfoncée jusqu'aux chevilles, pas de hors sentier pour la Touille aujourd'hui !

Je fais aussi un petit crochet par la forêt fossilisée de Curio Bay ! Je m'attendais à un truc sacrément impressionnant, mais à défaut d'arbres géants en pierre, l'histoire est super intéressante : des pluies énormes ont dévalé les pentes d'un volcan, se chargeant de silice, avant de traverser la forêt comme un raz de marée. La forêt est détruite, mais l'eau s'infiltre dans les cellules, chargeant de minéraux tout ce beau monde, et pouf ! Ça fait des chocapics fossiles pour la postérité 🤗

Là du coup, c'est un ancien tronc d'arbre en tranche horizontale ! Bon, les plus beaux spécimens sont conservés dans le musée à côté, les touristes ayant eu la fâcheuse tendance de casser des petits bouts pour les ramener chez eux ... Elle montait à un mètre de haut il y a une trentaine d'année apparemment cette forêt !

Ensuite, je passe par le point le plus au sud de toute la nouvelle Zélande ! Mesdames et messieurs, après ça, c'est l'Antarctique !! (Bon, techniquement, il y a quelques îles entre, mais chuuuut)

Et petite surprise alors que je suis au phare de Waipapa : des lions de mer !!

"Mais alors Touille", me demanderez vous, "comment fais tu la différence entre une otarie à fourrure et un lion de mer ?". Alors. J'avais un doute jusqu'à voir ces spécimens, mais la reponse est assez simple finalement. Si votre réflexe naturel est de faire "Ooooooow" en voulant le caresser, c'est une otarie, si c'est de vous reculer de trois (dizaines de) pas en vous disant qu'il va vous croquer la tête, c'est un lion de mer 😎 (fin de la leçon). C'est grand ces bestiaux en fait, ça monte jusqu'à plus d'une demie tonne ...

yes but tell me ur trailblaze level first so i can give u better advice bc swarm is very late game content (i'd argue even more late game then memory of chaos) slkdskjs

the tldr is that you should focus on survivability over damage. everything is about making sure you Don't Die.

it helps to have a well built imaginary or quantam character (if not DH IL than definitely qingque even over seele for aoe) but its more important you dont Die.
